Visit to Trinidad
Pick-up and departure from the hotel is at 6 AM. We drive through Pedraplén to Isla Grande, pass the outskirts of Morón, and thirty minutes later pass the outskirts of the provincial capital, Ciego de Ávila, to cross the central highway that will take us to the province of Sancti Spiritus, where the municipality of Trinidad is located.
During your tour, you will receive an adequate explanation of the main activities, institutions and events, places, and the most important events in the life and history of Cuba and Cubans. Breakfast is free, with stops along the way or at the first place you visit.
The first place worth visiting is the Manaca Iznaga Tower, where guests can enjoy culinary offerings, shop, learn about its history, and climb the tower for panoramic views of the valley.
After exploring the tower, we head to the Mirador del Valle de los Ingenios, where, in addition to observing through binoculars, guests can explore the entire valley using the «Canopy.»
Once in the city center, guests will visit the Plaza Mayor, the Church of the Holy Trinity (museum), the Romanesque Museum, the Archaeological Museum, the Municipal History Museum, and the Anti-Bandit Museum.
Lunch will be at a local restaurant, after which, if desired, we will visit Ancon Beach, where you can swim in the Caribbean Sea and thus enjoy both Cuban coastlines: the northern Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea to the south. Departure is scheduled for 4:00 PM, with a hotel arrival time of around 8:00 PM.
